Sales Tips
- Make a list of potential customers. Neighbors, relatives, friends, co-workers.
- Introduce yourself and tell the customer what group you are with.
- Explain what your group is raising funds for.
- Collect cash or check. Mark your sales sheet as paid, and fill out a receipt card for the customer.
- Let the customer know that they can call the number on the receipt card for any questions, and that you will be back with their order on or around the delivery date on the card.
- Smile, thank the customer, and give them the receipt card.
Never sell alone to people that you don't know. Do not enter anyone's house that you do not know. Sell during daylight hours. Respect the customer's decision if they do not want to look at the brochure or place an order. Sell only to those you know, with parents, friends, and safe areas.
